Baby Prodigy Review & Giveaway!

Mom’s across the country are raving about Baby Prodigy DVD’s and now I know why.  In an effort to help parents raise smarter happy babies Baby Prodigy has developed a series of DVD’s that are not only entertaining but educational thanks to founder Barbara Marcus and her husband Richard.  Since November 2002 Baby Prodigy has been providing Moms and Dads educational entertaining DVD to hold a child’s interest as well as help in their development.

Barbara was kind enough to send me two of the Baby Prodigy DVD’s to help with our little one’s:  30 Minutes to A Quiet Baby and Baby’s First Words.  Thank you so much Barbara!  We are loving these DVD’s!  Mom, Dad and all three little ones are truly enjoying them!    These wonderful DVD’s star Dookie and Dottie Duck (Dookie’s little sister) and are adorable characters that the girls love!  Each DVD is filled with music the little ones can identify with and have a calming effect that I found couldn’t be beat.

If your looking to calm the little ones down before nap time or bed time then I highly recommend 30 Minutes To A Quiet Baby DVD!  It worked so well we had them napping in no time.  The DVD contains soft music with so many tunes that the kids will identify with like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Itsy Bitsy Spider.  All done very softly.  I just loved this DVD!

Baby’s First Words was also wonderful with so many of the first words that babies will learn.  It too has soft music along with spelling of each word and pictures to accompany them.  Words like house, cat, bunny etc. so the girls can learn not only how to say the words, but also how to spell them, along with counting and color recognition!  Our little ones will be watching these DVD’s for a long time.

Dookie and Dottie Duck are wonderful characters that your little ones will love as much as Amelie and Moyra do!  Baby Prodigy DVD’s are available at Toys R Us so you won’t have a hard time finding them unless they sell out of course.  What wonderful gifts these would make too to a new mother!  The DVD’s retail for $12.99 so it’s a fabulous bargain for hours of learning and entertainment.

Baby Prodigy has kindly offered to give one of my readers their own copy of 30 Minutes To A Quiet Baby and a plush Dookie Duck for your little one to cuddle with!  Super Cool!  One lucky parent or grandparent is going to love this!

It takes hours to get my little guy to sleep and he will only fall asleep if I hold him, rock him and sing to him, after all that i must hold him for at least 15-20 minutes before i can put he down or he wakes up! its nuts!

My reflux baby was impossible–rocking, walking, shhing, everything…then we only got 2 hours at a time out of him for months.

  16. Sarah says:

I'm like Liz… my little guy is nearing 3, but can't go to sleep unless I hold him and rock him and cuddle him. Takes about 20 minutes for him to calm down enough to finally drift to sleep, then another 20 minutes before I can lay him down. At least I get to watch an episode of Star Trek of Stargate while we do this!!

  17. hity88 says:

Actually, my little one isn't so bad (after reading the other comments). But it does take a little work to get him to settle down.

  18. ?He?ther? says:

For the most part it's fairly easy to calm him down. However, when he's throwing a rare fit, it's very hard to calm him down.

My son seems to get more wound up the more tired he gets. He's also learned to climb out of his bed so that's been a little rough. However, once he's asleep, he sleeps very well and usually for 9-10 hours.
